Our patent-pending EZ Lift System was designed to make lifting a window well cover as easily as possible. It only takes 2 lbs of pressure to lift the cover. Usually, that’s the force of pushing up on it with one index finger. This means young children and the elderly alike are able to use the EZ Lift System to open a window well cover in the event of an emergency or just for easy access.

How It Works
Our in-house engineers designed the patent-pending EZ Lift System works by using gas spring arms to be able to open and close a cover. By creating a “hinge type” of application, and the right size and strength of gas springs and attachments, we’ve developed a way that a cover can be easily lifted and remain in the open position. The EZ lift will work with any of our covers regardless of size, making it an obvious choice if access is a high priority. The EZ lift also works well with our lockdown and ladder systems to ensure the best product.

With our EZ lift system, a child can open the window well cover. It only requires 2 to 3 pounds of force to lift the cover off the window well. The EZ lift provides an added advantage if you’re caught downstairs during an emergency or when it’s time to wash those basement windows. No more struggling to get the covers off, just gently lift and the hydraulic arms will keep the covers open for easy access to the well.
The hydraulic arms hold your window well cover on each end, supporting the weight for as long as you need. Access in and out of the window well is a breeze with an EZ lift system. After you’re done, just gently push the cover back into place and it’s ready to go.

I ordered 3 window well covers from MOUNTAINLAND Covers in Denver. It’s a very easy process. You pay a deposit and they come out and measure. You don’t have to be there. When the covers go into production you pay the first payment. A couple of weeks later they are delivered and installed. I was impressed with the efficiency and quality of the service and product. I LOVE these window well covers. My siblings and I have been worried about our kids falling into the deep window wells at our parents home. We decided to give our parents these window well covers for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Our dad was a contractor and engineer and he is happy with the quality and service. I love how fast they were made. I really appreciate the technician that installed them. He talked to my dad and explained everything about the warranty and how the covers work. I very highly recommend this company! I had the best experience. There was constant communication from the time I ordered to the delivery of the covers. The entire process took about 8 days with me rushing the order – and I’m outside their standard service zone. The quality of the covers is great. There was a small issue with the construction of the cover due to an oversight of my window well having about a 5” wall, but the person who installed the covers fixed the issue on the spot. The covers look great and are extremely well made. There is a small gap due to my window being higher than the window well, and they even offered a solution for this that I passed on. In hindsight I should’ve done it because the cost was minimal. If I ever move and need new covers, I know who I’m calling. Stop shopping around and trust this company will take the best care of you, and are so worth the cost.
